Salisbury Man Caught After 47-Mile High-Speed Police Chase

Ryan Moore, 20, today pleaded guilty to a string of driving offences following a dramatic police pursuit stretching nearly 50 miles.

Dangerous Chase Through Wiltshire and Hampshire

On the night of December 9, police spotted a black Mercedes A-Class on Avon Approach, Salisbury, suspected of involvement in a drugs deal. The car, driven by Moore of Carmelite Way, was also believed to be using cloned registration plates.
“This was a good piece of collaborative work by Wiltshire and Hampshire Police, and if Moore hadn’t run out of fuel when he did, I am confident he would have been shortly brought to a safe stop by these Specialist units.”
