A 16-year-old boy was shot dead in broad daylight in South London, sparking a major murder investigation.
Police were called to Paradise Road, in the Studley Estate between Stockwell Underground Station and Clapham, at around 2.30 PM on Tuesday, March 4.
Forensic Teams Search London Underground Station
Authorities are conducting extensive forensic investigations, with specialists seen examining the handrails of an escalator inside Stockwell station at around 7.30 PM.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed this search was linked to the murder probe, as officers try to track the suspect’s movements.

Investigation & Police Response
Superintendent Gabriel Cameron, leading the investigation, said:
“This is an enormously shocking incident which I imagine will cause huge distress to the local community. Our thoughts are with the young boy’s family at this devastating time.”
“Local officers are on the scene gathering CCTV and speaking to witnesses to piece together what has happened. They will be supported by specialist homicide investigators shortly. Please rest assured we will work around the clock to identify and find those responsible.”
At this time, no arrests have been made, and the killer remains at large.

Mayor of London: ‘This Abhorrent Violence Has No Place in Our City’
London Mayor Sadiq Khan condemned the attack, urging the public to assist the investigation:
“My thoughts are with the family, friends, and wider community in Stockwell following the shocking fatal shooting of a 16-year-old boy.”
“This abhorrent violence has absolutely no place in our city. I am in close contact with police leaders—an investigation is underway to find those responsible, and local residents will see increased patrols in the area.”
