A serious road traffic collision on the M25 in Essex has resulted in a complete closure of the clockwise carriageway between Junction 29 (Romford) and Junction 30 (South Ockendon/Grays). The accident involved a lorry and a car, prompting a response from the Metropolitan Police, ambulance services, and National Highways Traffic Officers.

Motorists are being diverted via the hollow triangle diversion route, with the following directions:

  • Exit the M25 at Junction 29 on to the A127.
  • At the next roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the A128.
  • Travel on the A128 towards Orsett.
  • At Orsett Cock roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the A13 westbound.
  • Rejoin the M25 at Junction 30.
