Detectives from Merseyside Police have released images of a man they believe may have crucial information regarding a sexual assault that occurred last month. The incident took place near Tesco on Chapel Street in southport/" title="SOUTHPORT" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpil-monitor-id="33049">Southport.
On Saturday, June 8, at approximately 2.25pm a 17-year-old girl and her friend were leaving Southport train station when the assault occurred. The victim is currently receiving support from officers as the investigation continues.
