Once ashore, the casualties were met by the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAMB) and Sussex Police for further assistance. Additionally, HM Coastguard Rye Bay and RNLI Rye Harbour Lifeboat Station were on hand to provide essential backup during the rescue operation.

This successful rescue highlights the importance of timely intervention and coordinated efforts among emergency services. In case of an emergency along the coast, the public is reminded to dial 999 and ask for “The Coastguard”.
