A dog that fell from the cliffs and became stranded on a ledge near Hastings sparked a dramatic rescue operation on Sunday afternoon.
Hastings Coastguard Rescue Team, working alongside East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, was first on the scene. Given the technical challenges of the location, additional support was called in from neighbouring Coastguard teams, from Bexhill and Eastbourne.
The joint operation showcased seamless collaboration among the emergency services, ensuring a positive outcome for the distressed animal. After a carefully coordinated effort, the dog was successfully brought to safety, unharmed.
