Emergency services were called to Willoughby Drive, Dagenham this afternoon following reports of a fire.
At approximately 2.32pm, officers from the Metropolitan Police Service were alerted to the incident and attended the scene alongside the London Fire Brigade.
Firefighters worked swiftly to control and extinguish the blaze. Authorities have confirmed that there are currently no reported injuries linked to the fire.
“We saw smoke coming from one of the houses and fire engines arriving quickly. It’s a relief to hear no one was hurt.”
Willoughby Drive has been partially cordoned off while investigations continue. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid the area if possible.

Police have advised anyone with information about the fire to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or the Met Police directly via 101, quoting the incident time and location.
