TfL Issues Warning Over Rule-Breaking at Gallows Corner Flyover Amid Full Closure
Transport for London (TfL) has issued a stern warning to motorists ignoring road signs and breaching the “vital rules” in place during the complete closure of the Gallows Corner roundabout and flyover.
The key junction in Romford was fully shut at 9pm on Monday, 23 June, with access restricted to black cabs, buses, and emergency vehicles only. The closure, part of a major infrastructure upgrade, immediately caused serious delays during the Tuesday morning commute, as drivers adjusted to new diversions.
Motorists are reminded to:
- Follow all posted signage and diversion instructions
- Avoid unauthorised entry, especially during restricted hours
- Report safety concerns to TfL or police
