Following the fatal collision on the London-bound carriageway of the M2, flight attendant Heidie Lee Locke died at the scene despite the efforts of Paramedics. Miss Locke, who was in her fifties, was driving a red Nissan Qashqai when she was hit by a red Mercedes-Benz C 200 AMG. A 40-year-old man was detained on suspicion of causing a fatal accident while driving recklessly and while intoxicated. Officers Are Keen To Talk To The Driver Of A Light-coloured Van Who May Have Seen The Mercedes Pass Them Prior To The Fatal Collision Miss Locke’s brother who lives in America has been made aware of the incident. The driver of a light-coloured van who may have seen the Mercedes pass them before the collision is someone the police are eager to speak with. They think the driver may be able to provide crucial information to aid their investigation. Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) officers from Kent Police are interested in speaking with anyone who witnessed what happened or who has pertinent dashcam or CCTV footage.
