Gatwick to Sharm el-Sheikh Flight Diverted to Venice Over Technical Issue

British Airways flight BA2814, en route from London Gatwick to Sharm el-Sheikh, made an unscheduled landing in Venice on December 23rd due to a suspected technical issue. A British Airways spokesperson told UKNIP:
“Our aircraft diverted as a precaution because of a suspected minor technical issue. We’re sorry to our customers for the disruption to their journeys and our teams are working hard to get them on their way again as quickly as possible.”
