Gone is 60 Second’s Little Brook Power Station

The 215m structure twice the height of Big Ben was blown down just after 8am on Sunday watch by hundreds who had got out of bed to watch the blow down. https:///youtu.be/rHHT1JdflRk The demolished was carried out using tactical explosions The Queen Elizabeth II Bridge part of the Dartford Crossing was also closed during the explosion. The chimney will be the last structure to be taken down in the Littlebrook Power Station demolition. It was closed in 2015, as it was deemed unprofitable to bring it up to necessary environmental standards. Kent-based firm Brown and Mason were brought in to demolish the station, which they have been doing over the past year.
