A large fire broke out early this morning at a vehicle workshop on Boston Road, Hanwell, leading to the evacuation of approximately 50 people from nearby properties. London Fire Brigade (LFB) received the first of over 15 emergency calls at 5:04 a.m. on 10 November, reporting the fire. Firefighters from Ealing, Southall, Acton, and surrounding areas responded swiftly.
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson commented, “Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters responded to a fire on Boston Road, Hanwell. Around 50 people from adjacent properties were evacuated by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police Service as a precaution.”

Traffic in the area is expected to be impacted until the scene is fully cleared. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation
