A woman has tragically died after her car collided with a bus on Lea Bridge Road, near the junction of Clapton Road, E5, early this morning.
Emergency Response
Police were called to the scene at approximately 6:50 AM on Saturday, February 8, 2025, following reports of a serious crash involving a car and a bus.
- Officers, London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene.
- The driver of the car, a woman, was rushed to the hospital but sadly died a short time later.
- No other injuries have been reported.

Lea Bridge Road remains closed as emergency services conduct investigations into the circumstances of the crash.
