Isle of Wight Church in lockdown after serious Sex attack
An Isle of Wight graveyard has been placed in locked down after a serious sex attack has been carried we can reveal. Police have sealed off and remain on guard at the St Catherine’s Church in Ventnor. A number of officers flooded the area in an attempt to catch the attacker who is understood to have made off from Police and was later arrested and remains in custody at Newport Police station. The victim is being cared for and interviewed by specialist trained officers. Officers from the Island CID department are understood to be heading up the investigation. A crime scene has been established and now waits specialist forensic examination. Hampshire Police have been approached for Comment
