Katie Price, the former glamour model and television personality, is reportedly setting her sights on relocating to the north of England, eyeing a move away from her notorious Mucky Mansion following her recent bankruptcy declaration. The 45-year-old, who faced financial difficulties resulting in her second bankruptcy last month, is said to be considering a £2.5 million property in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, as her new dream home.

Price, a mother of five, owes a substantial sum of £761,994.05 to HM Revenue and Customs, contributing to her financial predicament. Despite these challenges, she appears determined to transition to a more stable and luxurious living situation. The property in question boasts six bedrooms, four bathrooms, an indoor pool, a gym, and a cinema room, alongside a triple garage and picturesque views of a golf course.

A source close to Price commented on her intentions, noting her eagerness to leave behind the Mucky Mansion, which has been a source of both fascination and controversy over the years. “Katie is sick of the Mucky Mansion and sees no future there now,” they shared with The Sun. “She wants to move into her dream home and she reckons this could be it. Quite how it would work given her financial problems is a mystery, but she’s got it in her head this is happening.”
Price’s battle with her finances has been well-documented, with the reality star defiantly stating that her home could not be taken from her despite her bankruptcy status. “Yes, I’m in a bankruptcy. But guess what? I own my house. No one could take it off me as well,” she proclaimed during a candid discussion with fans.
The complexity of her financial situation was further highlighted when a bankruptcy expert suggested it would be highly unlikely for Price to retain her £2million Mucky Mansion without “exceptional circumstances.” Moreover, the earnings she has accumulated since her last bankruptcy declaration in 2019 are expected to be scrutinized and potentially seized.
Price discovered her renewed bankruptcy status in a rather public manner while recording a podcast, expressing her ongoing struggles and commitments to meeting her financial obligations, particularly taxes. Don’t think I sit here and don’t pay stuff, because I do,” she insisted.
In a bid to alleviate her financial strain, Price previously listed her West Sussex home for rent, asking £6,000 per month from potential tenants, though the endeavour seemingly failed to attract interest.
As Katie Price navigates her latest bankruptcy ordeal and plans for a fresh start, the public’s fascination with her personal and financial saga continues unabated, underscoring the unpredictable nature of celebrity and wealth.
