Retired members of the armed forces in Dartford will receive a complimentary Christmas meal this holiday season, thanks in part to a £1,000 donation from Kent Police. The donation, from the force’s property fund, was presented on Saturday, November 9, 2024, by Inspector Lee Cheesman and Community Liaison Officer Karen Sandland to representatives of the Dartford Veterans’ Breakfast Club.
During the visit, officers also provided advice on concerns related to crime, antisocial behaviour, and other community issues. The gesture highlights Kent Police’s ongoing commitment to supporting and engaging with local veterans.
