A Gravesend RNLI lifeboat crew was dispatched to assist a workman who suffered a suspected stroke aboard a workboat near Belvedere.
The lifeboat was stood down at 4pm and returned to its boathouse, where it was refuelled and prepared for its next mission by 4.43pm.
Record-Breaking Year for RNLI
This rescue marked the 125th launch of the year for Gravesend RNLI, equalling the station’s previous record for annual callouts set in 2009.

A spokesperson for Gravesend RNLI praised the crew’s quick response, adding:
