Long delays on the M25 motorway in Surrey following coach fire
The M25 currently has delays of at least 30 minutes from J9 (Leatherhead) to J10 (Wisley), covering approx 4 miles of the clockwise carriageway. The delays are due to a vehicle fire with 3 lanes (of 4) closed and Highways England has resources deployed working hard to restore normal conditions as soon as possible. For traffic approaching the delays locally, you are advised to expect disruption with extra journey time and you may wish to re-route or delay your journey. If travelling towards this area from much farther afield, you may wish to change your strategic route, allow extra travel time and follow guidance from our on-road variable message signs and media.
