Police treating the attack as an “isolated incident” as enquiries continue.
A murder investigation is under way after a man in his 20s was fatally stabbed in Luton, Bedfordshire, on Sunday evening.
Emergency services were called to Humberstone Road just after 6pm following reports of an altercation involving two men and a woman.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries but, despite the best efforts of medical staff, he was pronounced dead a short time later. His next of kin have been informed.
Police appeal for witnesses
Detectives from Bedfordshire Police’s Major Crime Unit have launched a full investigation and are urging anyone with information, or who may have captured footage, to come forward.
A spokesperson said officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone with CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident.
