Three people have been taken to hospital following a serious four-vehicle collision involving an overturned lorry on the M25 anticlockwise between Junctions 29 (Romford/A127) and 28 (Brentwood/A12) this afternoon.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:15pm on Tuesday, 17 June, prompting a major emergency response. Paramedics, firefighters, and an air ambulance were deployed to the scene.

The crash forced the closure of the anticlockwise carriageway, with miles of queues reported on approach. Traffic was also affected on the clockwise side, where the air ambulance landed.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area and follow the Hollow Square diversion route issued by National Highways.
