M25 motorway closed following serious collision in Hertfordshire

The M25 in Hertfordshire is closed clockwise between J23 (near South Mimms) and J25 (near Waltham Cross) due to a serious multi-vehicle collision. All emergency services including Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Service are in attendance. The anti-clockwise carriageway was also blocked for some time whilst the Air Ambulance was in attendance, however this has been released and all lanes are open. Clockwise diverted traffic should exit at J23 and follow the hollow triangle symbol. Take the 5th exit at the roundabout onto the A1 towards London. Follow towards Central London, through Stirling Corner and Mill Hill Circus to Fiveways Corner. Bear left onto A1 and continue to Henlys Corner. Here, bear left and continue onto the A406 North Circular Road towards Wood Green. Follow A406 towards Enfield and at Great Cambridge Junction take the exit slip at the roundabout and then the 1st exit onto the A10 towards Hertford. Follow A10 and then rejoin M25 at J25.
