A dramatic police pursuit on the M25 ended in an arrest after a stolen Mitsubishi deliberately rammed police vehicles in a desperate bid to avoid capture.
The incident occurred yesterday (Thursday, 8 May 2025) as traffic officers pursued the vehicle toward Romford. The stolen Mitsubishi was reported to have made multiple attempts to ram pursuing police cars, putting officers and other road users in danger.
Despite the aggressive attempts to flee, officers brought the chase to a halt and arrested a man at the scene. He was detained for multiple offences and remains in police custody.
A spokesperson for the force said:
“The vehicle was brought to a stop and one male was arrested. He remains in custody while further enquiries are ongoing.”
Police are urging anyone with dashcam footage or information related to the incident to come forward.
