The M25 in Surrey/Kent has now fully reopened in the clockwise direction between Junction 5 (Sevenoaks) and Junction 6 (Godstone) following extensive resurfacing and clean-up operations after a serious HGV fire.
Emergency crews and maintenance teams worked tirelessly to restore the affected section of the motorway, which had been closed due to significant damage caused by the fire. The clean-up included removing debris and repairing the road surface to ensure safe passage for vehicles.
All closures have now been lifted, and traffic is flowing freely through the area. Motorists are thanked for their patience and cooperation during the incident and subsequent repair work.
The authorities appreciate the public’s understanding as they worked to make the area safe and fully operational once again.
