M26 motorway closed in both directions following Police incident

Kent Police have closed the #M26 motorway in both direction a closure has been put in between the #M25 and #J2A #Wrotham due to an ongoing Police incident. Officers were called at 5.50am to a concern for welfare of a person. It is currently unclear how long the closure will be in place for drivers are being advised to plan ahead and seek an alternative route.

UPDATE:7.20am Police have resolved the issue and the closures have been removed
