M4 westbound between J11 and J12 Closed Following Collision

M4 westbound is closed near Reading between J11 and J12 is closed after a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle. Drivers are advised to avoid the area. Themes Valley air ambulance has landed on the carriageway following the collision, drivers are advised to follow the diversion which is the black hollow symbol. The incident happened at the services between J11-J12 of the M4. Thames Valley Police officers were called to the scene by a member of the public on Friday, November 18 at 4.53pm. A spokespersons from Highways England has said ” The carriage way has been closed and is likely to remain closed as police carryout collision investigations” More to follow shortly.
