Made up of one sergeant, three constables and 35 community policing team officers who work as Wildlife and Heritage Crime Officers, the team will be operating across the county – UKNIP

Police in Wiltshire have launched a new-look rural crime team to further protect our isolated communities and make Wiltshire and Swindon a place that criminals fear.

The team, which officially launches today (18 September), has been made possible with the precept increase and additional central funding, as acquired by Police and Crime Commissioner Angus Macpherson at the start of this financial year.
