Motorcyclist Killed in Early Morning Crash on A20 in Maidstone

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision involving a motorcyclist in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 3.10am on the A20 Terrace Road, near the junction with White Rock Place, and involved a black Piaggio Vespa moped.

Emergency services, including Kent Police and ambulance crews, attended the scene, where a man in his 30s was pronounced dead. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Serious Collision Investigation Launched

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now leading the inquiry and are urging motorists to check dashcam footage from the area during the relevant time period.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

A Kent Police spokesperson said:

“We are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have seen the motorbike shortly beforehand. Dashcam footage could be crucial in helping us establish the circumstances of this tragic incident.”
