Major road closed after overturned lorry near Ower
Road Closure Please be aware two lanes of the northbound carriageway of the A36, from Junction 2 of the M27, has been closed due to a HGV overturning. Lane 2 of the southbound carriageway is also closed as a result after a lorry overturned in the early hours. Traffic is unable to access the link road to the A36 from the M27. Emergency services are at the scene and a recovery operation and clean up has started. The overturned HGV crashed through the barriers leaving them seriously damaged. These will need replacing. The incident happened near Ower just off junction 2 of the M27.
