Teenager Found with Knife Wound to Head as Police Investigate

A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a 14-year-old boy was stabbed in the head in Colindale.

The incident took place on Guardian Avenue, near Colindale Station, at 5:13 pm on Friday, March 7. Emergency services rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a stabbing at a residential property.

Victims and Injuries

  • The 14-year-old boy was found with a knife injury to his head and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.
  • A 14-year-old girl also sustained minor injuries, though police have not confirmed if these were caused by a knife.

Suspect Arrested as Investigation Continues

A 39-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that they are not looking for any other suspects, and investigations into the circumstances surrounding the attack are ongoing.
