Man Dies after being Hit by Train at Portchester Station
Police have sadly confirmed that a man has died after he was hit by a train at Portchester Railway station this afternoon. Emergency services rushed to the scene just after lunchtime. Trains between Fareham and Portsmouth where severely delay with many people being stuck on trains. Southern Rail called in replacement buses to service surrounding stations. They said the man died at the scene and the death is not believed to be suspicious.
