Man Hospitalised After Stabbing at London Victoria Underground Station

 

A man has been taken to the hospital following a stabbing at London Victoria underground station earlier today (October 11). Officers were called to the scene around 5:25 p.m. after receiving reports of an altercation between two men.

Emergency crews from the London Ambulance Service attended and found a man suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to the hospital, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.

The second man involved in the fight had left the area before police arrived. He is described as a white male in his 40s or 50s, approximately 5’10”, with short brown hair and a brown beard.

Detective Inspector Ian Wright of British Transport Police stated: “There is no place for violence on the railway network, and detectives are working at pace to investigate the incident. Passengers will see an increased uniformed presence at the station while enquiries are carried out.”

British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses as they continue their investigation into the serious assault.
