Emergency services rushed to King’s Cross Underground Station this morning following reports of a man falling onto the train tracks.
The incident occurred at approximately just before 10am at the busy King’s Cross and St Pancras Underground Station on Euston Road, prompting an immediate response from the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and station staff.
Witnesses reported a brief moment of panic as the man was seen on the tracks before being successfully pulled back onto the platform. It is currently unclear how the man fell, but Transport for London confirmed that he is now safely back on the platform and receiving medical attention.
A Transport for London (TfL) spokesperson said:
“We’re grateful for the swift actions of staff and emergency responders in assisting a male who had fallen onto the track at King’s Cross station. The individual is now safe, and there was no serious injury reported.”
Services through the station experienced temporary delays, but operations have since resumed.
British Transport Police have not confirmed whether the fall was accidental or involved any suspicious circumstances. Enquiries are ongoing.
