Tyler Thornhill, 24, of Standfast Road, Henbury, Bristol, has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison for assaulting his ex-partner in Warminster and committing criminal damage.

Thornhill, who pleaded guilty to two counts of ABH (Actual Bodily Harm) and two counts of criminal damage, received his sentence at Salisbury Crown Court on Monday, April 29.

The incident occurred on February 14, 2023, when Thornhill, armed with a baseball bat, forcibly entered his ex-partner’s home, grabbing her around the throat before taking some belongings.
