Police were called at approximately 5.15am on Sunday, 15 September, to reports of a man being stabbed on Rye Lane, SE15.
Upon arrival, officers found the man collapsed in the street and immediately performed emergency CPR until the London Ambulance Service arrived. The victim was then taken to the hospital for treatment, and his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

Road closures were put in place while the scene was dealt with; these have now been removed but a crime scene remains in place.
