A 33-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed near Woolwich Station on Thursday evening, prompting a significant emergency response and road closures in the area.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:

“Police were called to a report of a stabbing on Parry Place, Woolwich at around 6.11pm on Thursday, 10 April.

A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as non-life-threatening or life-changing.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”

Public Appeal

No suspects have been detained at this time. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident to come forward.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Met Police via 101, quoting CAD reference for 10 April, or to reach out anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
