A motorcyclist was injured this morning following a collision with a van on Maple Road, SE20, prompting an emergency response and temporary road closure.
Police were called at 8:58am on Saturday, March 15, to reports of a road traffic collision involving a van and a motorbike.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service attended the scene and provided treatment to the motorcyclist, who fortunately did not sustain life-changing injuries.

Road Reopened Following Emergency Response
The incident led to the temporary closure of Maple Road to allow emergency services to work safely at the scene. The road has since reopened to traffic and normal conditions have resumed.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed that no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the collision.
