Officers are looking for witnesses or anyone with information about a sexual assault on a train travelling from Inverness to Glasgow.
On Saturday 14 May, shortly after 5.30pm a woman was travelling on a train from Inverness to Glasgow. There were also football fans on board.
During the journey, a man approached the victim and sat next to her, offering her alcohol.
He then inappropriately touched her, to which the victim replied, “no thanks.” Throughout the journey, the man remained in his seat and attempted to communicate with the victim.
A short time later, the man kissed the victim on the cheek and said, “I love you,” before standing up and exiting the carriage.
Officers are eager to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident in order to further their investigations.
