Sex Assault Horror on London-Bound Train – Police Release CCTV of Suspect
British Transport Police (BTP) have launched a desperate appeal after a disturbing sexual assault on a train heading to London. CCTV images show a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

The assault happened at around 7.45pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. The train was travelling from Staines to Clapham Junction when a shocking attack unfolded inside the carriage.
Police say a man walking down the aisle was sexually assaulted by another man seated nearby. The victim was left shaken as the attacker targeted him without warning.

Officers are confident the man seen in the released CCTV images holds vital information that could crack the case wide open. They want anyone who recognises him to step forward immediately.
A BTP spokesperson said: “We continue to investigate this appalling incident and appeal to anyone who was on the service or has information to come forward.”
