The South Yorkshire firefighter smashed the Guinness World Record at yesterday’s London Marathon, raising money for the Firefighters Memorial Trust. The previous record stood at 3 hours 41 minutes. He beat it by 38 minutes. In full kit. Just to be clear! The Firefighters Memorial Trust cares for the National Firefighters Memorial in London and exists to ensure the sacrifice of firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty is never forgotten.
