Pedestrian sadly died following collision on A27 Arundel Road in Walberton

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision on the A27 Arundel Road near its junction with Mill Road, Walberton, in which a pedestrian sadly died. It happened shortly after midnight on Monday (3 June) when the pedestrian, a man, was in collision with a silver Renault Megane travelling east. The A27 eastbound was closed for around eight hours between Fontwell and Arundel while police carried out an investigation at the scene. Anyone who saw what happened, who may have dash-cam footage or who noticed either the car or the pedestrian in the vicinity around midnight is asked to contact Sussex Police online, email [email protected] or phone 101, quoting Operation Beeton
