Person Hit by Train at Chancery Lane Station — Emergency Services on Scene
Emergency services have rushed to Chancery Lane Underground Station this evening following reports that a person has been struck by a train on the eastbound Central Line platform.
The incident occurred at around 9:32pm. A full emergency response was mobilised, with British Transport Police, London Ambulance Service, and London Fire Brigade crews all in attendance.
A spokesperson for London Underground confirmed that the station has been partially evacuated, and Platform 2 remains closed as rescue operations continue.
Trains are currently not stopping at Chancery Lane, and severe delays are being reported on parts of the Central Line. Passengers are being advised to seek alternative routes while emergency teams deal with the situation.
