Person Struck by Train at Piccadilly Circus Station on Bakerloo Line

A major emergency response was launched this afternoon after a person was reported to be under a train at Piccadilly Circus Underground Station on the northbound Bakerloo line.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:55pm, on Tueaday 10th JUne 2025 prompting a swift response from London Underground staff, British Transport Police, London Ambulance Service, and fire crews.

Severe Disruption Expected

A section of the Bakerloo line has been suspended while emergency crews work at the scene. Passengers are being advised to seek alternative routes as severe delays are affecting the line.

Transport for London (TfL) issued a statement saying:

“Due to a person under a train at Piccadilly Circus, there is currently no service on the northbound Bakerloo line between Embankment and Oxford Circus. Tickets are being accepted on local bus services.”

Public Advised to Avoid Area

Piccadilly Circus Station remains partially closed as emergency responders continue to manage the incident. Crowd control measures have been implemented to ensure public safety in and around the area.
