Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses following a tragic collision on the A27 in Falmer that claimed the life of a 23-year-old pedestrian.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 10:35 am on Friday, 18 October, after receiving reports of a collision involving a coach and a pedestrian. Despite efforts from first responders, the man, from Brighton, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed, and the police have expressed their condolences to the family during this difficult time.
The road was closed for several hours while emergency services attended the scene, and the police have extended their thanks to the public for their patience and cooperation during the closure.
