Police carry out controlled explosion after suspect package find leads to station evacuation
A controlled explosion has been carried out on a suspicious package ) near Charing Cross station
Emergency services were called to deal with an incident near #LondonCharingCross trains station at around 7.30pm on Sunday evening.
Diners were led out of the nearby restaurants near to the suspect item that was found near the bridge.
Trains couldn’t run into or out of the station they were held in station or diverted into other London terminals.
