A body was discovered outside a house in Eastbourne, sparking a full police cordon and road closure as investigations get underway.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Paramedics were called to the scene after reports of a person found outside a property. Despite their efforts, the individual was pronounced dead at the spot.
Police Seal Off Area for Forensics
Sussex Police quickly set up a cordon and shut the road temporarily to allow forensic teams to carry out examinations.
“We were called following reports of a body found outside a property in Eastbourne. The person was sadly confirmed deceased at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing to identify the individual and to establish the full circumstances,” a Sussex Police spokesperson said.
Appeal for Witnesses
The identity of the deceased has not been released, and police have not confirmed if the death is suspicious.
