Police stand off with UK’s most wanted man in Cheshire village

Police hunting suspected serial rapist Joseph McCann have cornered a suspect in a rural area of Congleton, Cheshire. It follows the abduction of two woman in Congleton earlier this evening. Trained police negotiators are talking with the man, believed to be McCann who is up a tree on Smithy Lane in Congleton.   NPAS are flying above and the suspect is surrounded by many officers. The thee times rapist has committed further offences this afternoon that are being investigated by Cheshire Police McCann is understood to have  raped a young woman and than taken the three children. He was than involved in a collision. McCann than ran off and thankfully left the children. He then went into people’s houses and threatened violence. He had a knife and a machete. He got away again with another stolen car and a 13 year old boy. Sicko has than ran off from Police and attempted to get a taxi out of the village. Police who were search found him hiding in a tree on Smithy Lane. More to follow
