The incident, described as “prolonged,” has also led to the introduction of height restrictions for vehicles accessing the area while emergency teams continue their operations.

A spokesperson for National Highways said:

“We are working closely with other agencies to address the situation and ensure public safety. We advise all motorists to avoid the area if possible and follow official updates.”
