Renewed Appeal After Fatal Crash on A249 Near Stockbury

 

Kent Police have launched a renewed appeal for information after a man in his 30s tragically died following a serious collision on the A249 near Stockbury.
The driver of the Land Rover, a man in his 40s, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries but has since been discharged.

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and is urging witnesses to come forward.

Witnesses Urged to Help

Officers are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who saw the black BMW travelling from the M20 junction 7 roundabout, up Detling Hill towards Sittingbourne, prior to the crash. They are also appealing to those who may have seen the silver Land Rover travelling in the opposite direction before using the slip road to the Chalky Road junction.

Anyone with relevant dashcam footage or information is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538, or email [email protected], quoting reference XX/HG/013/25.

Dashcam footage can also be uploaded directly via the Kent Police website.

Police continue to support the victim’s family as the investigation remains ongoing.
