Southall Street in Lockdown following Fatal Shooting

A murder investigation has been launched in Southall after a man was fatally shot. Officers were called at 01:23hrs on Saturday, 11 November, to reports of a shooting at Lady Margaret Road, Southall. Armed police and London Ambulance Service attended and found a 26-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. The injured man was taken to a central London hospital by London Ambulance Service. He died a few hours later at 03:32hrs. Officers from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating and appealing for witnesses and those with information to come forward.

We know that a large crowd gathered shortly after the shooting and some people within that group may well have witnessed what took place and seen the suspect(s) leaving the scene. It’s vital they get in touch so we can build on the information we have and find those behind this shooting.” No arrests have been made. Enquiries are ongoing.
