Autistic schoolboy and fundraiser Andrew Impey has been made an honorary firefighter in New York. The 11-year-old from Southsea has visited more than 1,000 UK fire stations after initially getting a warm welcome from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service last year. He plans to visit them all to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity, adding to over £1,700 he’s already raised.
